Relaxing Day in the Park

Thank goodness for another relaxing day. I woke up relatively early after going to bed so early the night before. The only thing on my agenda for the day was reading an article for class and preparing for a brief quiz on the information for Tuesday. Unlike yesterday, the sun was up and it was a beautiful day, so I decided to take my reading and a book to the park. Lindsay joined me as I was finishing the article and Natalie joined us shortly after that. We read, slept, and talked while absorbing some vitamin D.

The rest of the day we planned a trip for the break between our two summer classes. After careful consideration we decided to spend out four day break in Oslo, Norway! We have plane tickets and a hostel booked, now we just have to decided on adventures within the beautiful city. Knowing the three of us, I'm sure we'll come up with something crazy and fun to do. We also began planning a mini trip to Sweden this weekend. It is surprising how much preparation goes into a trip even as short as two days. We took a quick break and ran to the store to find something for dinner. I settled with a mozzarella and tomato salad. After a few heavy days of drinking I thought it might be best to stick with something on the lighter side. On the other hand, Lindsay and Natalie almost finished an entire bag of chips each by themselves, so they thought a midnight workout would be a good idea. I decided to stick with my mozzarella and tomato salad and forget the workout. I spent the rest of my night planning for my final week of travel after classes end. I'm still exactly where I started with nothing planned, but it is a work in progress.
